Robert (Bob) Chestnut, Ph.D. - Bob is an expert in quantitative measurement, analysis, & prediction of behavior. He has designed & conducted studies of both physicians/HCPs & patients/consumers. Applications have ranged from large-scale market studies to develop marketing & communications strategy at launch to small-scale web surveys to address tactics in pricing & product design, HCP usage of new treatments, & patient attitudes and behaviors. Robin Chestnut, Ph.D. - Robin is a professional moderator & expert in qualitative techniques (focus groups, remote moderating, in-depth interviews). She is experienced in interviewing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in science & medicine, physicians of all specialties, healthcare professionals, & decision makers in a variety of healthcare organizations. On the patient side, Robin works across all major conditions & has a depth of involvement in rare disorder communities (patient, caregiver, & advocates), cancer, & immune-related conditions.
Mathew Gulick

Mathew Gulick is the Senior Director, Global Communications at PPTA and has been with the Association since October 2017. In his role, he oversees the creation, amplification, and evaluation of PPTA’s core messages via its digital, social, and print materials, including via The Source magazine, the Annual Report, and PPTA’s several websites. Additionally, Mat manages PPTA’s PR campaigns to build awareness of the importance of plasma donation to treat rare and serious conditions impacting those with missing or functionally deficient proteins in their plasma. As the Association’s primary contact with the media, Mat is responsible for engaging with reporters and coordinating interviews to further promote understanding that plasma donors save lives every day.

Vlasta leads Grifols ongoing efforts to develop and execute strategies that advance Grifols reputation to help ensure a more favorable environment for the business. Her key responsibilities include creating and overseeing external efforts to raise awareness around plasma. Vlasta also oversees the company’s community engagement efforts to ensure that it aligns with and advances Grifols corporate mission and strategy, builds shared value with core stakeholders, and increases internal and external engagement in the company’s social programs.
